Saildrone is pleased to announce its new partnership with the Alliance for Digital Innovation (ADI), a forward-thinking organization advocating for commercial innovation in the public sector.
“Earth’s oceans play a vital role providing millions of blue economy jobs, providing a food source for billions of people, and regulating global weather affecting everyone, and yet, there is so much we don’t know about these vast and remote regions. Saildrone’s mission to make ocean data collection cost-effective at scale is well aligned with that of ADI. We are proud to join this innovative group of companies,” Saildrone COO Sebastien de Halleux.
ADI works to ensure that the public sector benefits from existing and emerging commercial technologies. Employing deep policy analysis, collaborative engagement with federal leaders, and strong advocacy on behalf of innovative commercial companies, ADI drives technology transformation in government and enables agencies to provide better services to the country via modern, secure digital capabilities.
“We are thrilled that Saildrone is adding their disruptive technology, advanced capabilities, and sharp policy insights to our growing organization,” said ADI Executive Director Matthew T. Cornelius. “ADI clearly focuses on the need to radically transform the cult of legacy inside government and, frankly, Saildrone’s amazing commercial technology is fundamentally transforming a century-old business model in the way the government collects, analyzes, and leverages advanced intelligence to better understand, navigate, and manage our vast oceans.”
As an ADI member, Saildrone joins global leaders Amazon Web Services, Salesforce, and VMware, along with a growing number of cutting-edge firms including NuAxis Innovations, an IT infrastructure support contractor; Palantir, providing solutions to integrate, manage, secure, and analyze enterprise data; and Telos, providing cyber, cloud, and enterprise security solutions.
